dm drogerie markt is one of the largest drugstore retail chains in Central and Eastern Europe. The first store was opened in 1973 in Karlsruhe, Germany, followed by the first branch in Austria in 1976 in the city of Linz. The company’s headquarters are located in Salzburg, Austria. Today, dm is represented in 12 countries across Europe.
dm Bulgaria joined the group on 29 January 2009 with its first store opening in the city of Vidin. Currently, the store network consists of 68 branches in 25 cities across the country, and the company employs over 500 people. The dm assortment includes more than 14,000 products – a wide range of cosmetics, perfumes, household goods, pet food, baby products, and much more. This diverse range is complemented by 22 dm private labels, with the most popular being Balea, babylove, alverde, DONTODENT, Denkmit, Profissimo, and dmBio.
